Who are LinkAble Playworkers?
Playworkers lead fun, inclusive activities for children and young people with additional needs at our After School Club, weekend and evening groups, and holiday schemes.
One day you might be getting stuck into messy play or parachute games. The next, you could be baking, running sensory activities or heading out on a trip to the park.
You’ll support people to join in at their own pace and create a safe, welcoming space where they can be themselves. You’ll also be the reason families get a much-needed break from caring.
Learn new skills
Our training will prepare you to work with people with complex support needs and to problem-solve with confidence. For many people, LinkAble is the first step in to a career in healthcare.
Is it right for you?
Working for LinkAble is busy, hands-on and rewarding. You’ll be a good fit if you’re:
- Warm, caring and happy to join in the fun
- Confident and encouraging, with a positive, can-do attitude
- A good communicator who works well with a team
- Reliable and trustworthy.
Many people choose to take on more than one part-time role at LinkAble, so if you like the look of more than one, let us know!
