Livability

A new transition service for young people with additional needs, designed to support the journey into adulthood. It's aimed at 18–30 year olds who want to prepare for work, volunteering, or independent living.

Topics include:

  • Life skills: travel training, money management, first aid, food hygiene
  • Health & wellbeing: gardening, fitness, anxiety support
  • Digital skills: emails, online shopping, safe tech use
  • Financial skills: budgeting, scam awareness, opening accounts
  • Work experience skills: placements, community projects, volunteering

Sessions are led by a team of friendly and supportive youth and education professionals, who understand how to connect with young people with additional needs. They create an encouraging environment where everyone feels included, valued, and motivated to take their next steps with confidence.
