A new look for LinkAble's playground.
After years of bringing joy to the hundreds of people who visit our centre in Woking, our outdoor space is ready for a major refresh, and we have some exciting plans to make it better than ever!
We're thrilled to announce our newest fundraiser, which will transform our well-loved outdoor play area into an engaging sensory environment designed especially for children and young people with a learning disability and autism!
We've launched an appeal to raise £2,500 towards creating a vibrant, accessible play space that will feature:
- A calming sensory garden
- Creative wall art
- Learning tools like chalkboards and mirrors
- Trike-friendly flooring with a race track
- Imaginative play zones, including a sand pit and mud kitchen
- A shaded area for quiet time
This specially designed environment won't just offer fun and play—it will support learning, creativity, and wellbeing for all the children who visit us.
"This space has always been a haven for the children and families we support," says our CEO, Sue Stockman. "Now we want to make it even more inclusive, stimulating, and exciting. A place where every child can feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves."
Your donation will not only help create this wonderful space, but it will also provide much-needed support for exhausted parents and carers who desperately need a break.
We're asking our community to come together and support this project. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for the families who rely on this important space!
