Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition - Winners | LinkAble

Galliford Try contacted LinkAble in the autumn of 2017 to discuss ways in which a charity and a construction company could work together.  The relationship between the two organisations has gone from strength to strength with service users visiting the construction site on White Rose Lane, staff from the company volunteering with LinkAble and LinkAble service users creating the artwork for the Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition.

Back in the autumn a group of our service users started visiting the site on a regular basis.  They were able to see how the site had changed each time they visited.

LinkAble was excited to be asked to create the artwork for the Ivor Goodsite Hoarding competition.  Some service users worked on their designs independently while others joined together as a group to create artwork on the theme of building site safety.

The art work for the mural was officially unveiled at an event in May at the St Dunstan's Road site.  Galliford Try hosted the event which was attended by The Mayor of Woking, Will Forster, along with service users, staff and volunteers from LinkAble.

The winning mural can now be seen on display next to site entrance to the Galliford Try building site on White Rose Lane.
