Thank you for making my summer fun!

Services we provide at LinkAble

Services for Children at LinkAble

Services avaliable to children
LinkAble welcomes children with learning disabilities from 4 years old, helping them to have fun, make friends and understand the exciting world around them! Some of the more common disabilities we see are autistic spectrum disorders, global developmental delay, Down's Syndrome, speech and language disorder and epilepsy.

Children’s activities include music therapy, swimming and play clubs. During the school holidays we run a varied timetable including creative arts, sports days and trips out!

Our children’s wellbeing and enjoyment is our top priority. We treat every child as an individual with their own needs, interests and potential. Our staff and volunteers are trained to understand a wide range of disabilities, and we provide one-to-one support where it is needed.

Our focus on play, social interaction and development in a safe and secure environment makes LinkAble a great place for young children to learn and grow!

Siblings are invited to some of our activities thus supporting these young carers so that they can feel included and valued. We pride ourselves on a high staff to child ratio at all of our children's activities and on developing good relationships with the families of our children.

Our activities for children focus on:
  • Enabling play and enjoyment
  • Connecting with others and developing friendship through social interaction
  • Development in a safe and secure environment.
